Time Capsule #12: tabletop jukebox selectors
During our Dartmouth days, I remember 2 places where you could put your nickels in the selector at your booth and choose the 45 record you wanted to play: Tony's Pizza on Allen Street and The Polka Dot in downtown White River Junction.
Amazing! Everyone in the place listening to the same song.
Some of the railway workers in the 2AM crowd at The Dot may not have appreciated Pete Bradley and me playing Brook Benton's "Rainy Night in Georgia" 8 times in a row.
